Song-by-Song #1 “What the birds tell us”. Dan Fogelberg often would start his albums with a short instrumental piece; almost like a musical palette-cleanser . I liked that idea. This is based around the poem “What the birds teach us” by JR Eastwood (referenced by permission from Discover Poetry).
