Guitar Hymns Volume 1 is the first in a series of instrumental hymn arrangements that I am doing. I have always had a deep love for the music and theology of the old standard hymns. I grew up with these, and I felt a longing to reconnect. I believe that we have lost our connection to these great old hymns, and in a way, lost a little bit of our spiritual selves by neglecting the treasure God gave through these hymns.
